Bear With Me
Evangel has once again partnered with Wings of Love, Inc., a local not-for-profit organization, collecting new small to medium-sized Teddy Bears and/or stuffed animals for local Police Departments and emergency personnel.
When responding to emergencies and crime scenes, the Bears are given to children to help comfort them in those traumatic situations. The Springfield Police Department has had a huge need for Teddy Bears, so this is a great opportunity to help. The officers will carry the bears with them in their patrol cars.
Please drop off your new items at Evangel church during any worship service or at the office Monday through Friday during business hours.
There is also a need for new cloth tote bags to carry the stuffed animals and keep them clean. Please drop off your tote bag(s) by the end of February, when they will be filled and delivered to local emergency responders
(instructions for a basic sewn tote bag).
