School Supply Drive
Throughout the summer months (June through August) we are asking for donations of new
backpacks and school supplies for children in need of those items. Please bring your
donations of new items to the School Supply display area. These will be distributed to
area children through their schools before school begins.

Women of Faith
This year's Women of Faith Conference, Infinite Grace will be held July 25-26 at the TD BankNorth Garden, Boston, MA. Tickets are $55. If you want to purchase lunch, the charge is $8 (optional). Hotel price is $40 per person.

Vacation Bible School
Hear the music and smell the popcorn! Come enter SonWorld Adventure Park on July 28 - August 1, where kids will discover that choosing Jesus is the ticket to the best ride of their lives. Based on Joshua 24:15, VBS 2008 helps kids learn to make right choices in a world of options.

Day Trip to Newport, RI
We are planning a day trip to Newport, RI, on Monday, August 11. The cost is $60 per person, which includes transportation, trolley tour with lunch,
harbor tour and free time. Fliers are available at Hospitality Table.

Eyeglass Collection
Do you have any used prescription glasses or sunglasses? How about non-prescription "magnifying" glasses? These items are needed and will be collected at the church as an ongoing project to assist children and adults in developing nations who have little or no access to basic eye care. Please ask others if they would help, too. We can make a difference in the lives of others.

Beth Moore Conference
Beth Moore is coming on Friday, October 17 to The First Cathedral, Bloomfield CT beginning at 7 p.m, featuring worship with Travis Cottrell. Tickets are $35. We have 10 tickets available for sale at this time. Stop by the Hospitality Table to purchase your ticket or call the office at 599-1729 while they last.
